Ecofeminismo em cordel: as sementes da Aldeia da Luz em solo francês/Ecofeminism in cordel literature: the seeds of Aldeia da Luz on French soil

Nosso artigo propõe analisar o poema de cordel O dia em que Padre Cícero recebeu os mandamentos ecológicos da Mãe das Dores de autoria de Sandra Alvino como um texto subversivo ecofeminista, que desconstrói o discurso de poder das instituições patriarcais sobre o gênero feminino e o meio ambiente. Criado como instrumento de uma campanha de reflorestamento promovida pelo Instituto de Permacultura da Caatinga Aldeia da Luz, o texto reveste-se de um caráter político transfronteiriço ao ser inserido na coleção de cordel feminino Fanka Santos da Universidade de Poitiers. Após enquadrar este cordel dentro do “ciclo ecológico” (Nogueira, 2013) e do movimento “ecofeminista” (Gaard, 2011), numa perspectiva “interseccional” (Crenshaw, 1989), analisaremos como ele pode ser compreendido como uma iniciativa político-textual à luz do pensamento ecofeminista. Realçaremos, em nossa análise, a “(re)invenção do nordeste” nele promovida (Albuquerque Jr., 2011), assim como a forte presença de uma “corporeidade” feminina (Zumthor, 2007). Discutiremos, por fim, a importância do gesto arquivístico de Fanka Santos como uma reparação histórica com relação ao apagamento de vozes femininas da historiografia do cordel.

Our article proposes to analyze the cordel poem O dia em que Padre Cícero recebeu os mandamentos ecológicos da Mãe das Dores (The day Padre Cícero received the ecological commandments from the Mother of Sorrows), written by Sandra Alvino, as a subversive ecofeminist text that deconstructs the discourse of power of patriarchal institutions on women and the environment. Created as part of a reforestation campaign promoted by the Caatinga Aldeia da Luz Permaculture Institute, the text takes on a cross-border political character when included in the Fanka Santos collection of women's cordel literature at the University of Poitiers. After framing this cordel within the “ecological cycle” (Nogueira, 2013) and the ‘ecofeminist’ movement (Gaard, 2011), from an “intersectional” perspective (Crenshaw, 1989), we will analyze how it can be understood as a political-textual initiative in light of ecofeminist thought. In our analysis, we will highlight the “(re)invention of the Northeast” promoted in it (Albuquerque Jr., 2011), as well as the strong presence of female “corporeality” (Zumthor, 2007). Finally, we will discuss the importance of Fanka Santos' archival gesture as a historical reparation for the erasure of female voices from the historiography of cordel literature.
