O texto Encantos singulares explora o estilo em Nossa América como expressão corporal entre sonho e tragédia, movido pelo humor como arte de consequências e subversão. O estilo é visto como forma bruta, sem destino, surgindo de surtos e não de intenções. A escrita é entendida como arte de viver, estilo de vida de um corpo singular que encontra prazer e se distancia de si. Supõe uma prática confessional das paixões que molda a subjetividade em movimento. O estilista se produz a si mesmo, fissurado e treinado na fruição e no prazer de viver. O estilo é gesto integral do corpo, entre linguagem oral e escrita, invenção e gasto vital. Seu fundo é um traço anômalo, fugaz e misterioso, que constrói a aventura a ser desvendada. O estilo é sempre uma tropologia: equação entre invenção literária e mitologia corporal do estilista.

Abstract

Style is seen as raw and destinationless, emerging from impulses rather than intention. Writing becomes an art of living — a singular body’s lifestyle through which pleasure is crafted and distance from the self is achieved. It involves a confessional practice of passions that shape subjectivity in motion. The stylist self-produces, aware of their fissures, trained in savoring, enjoyment, and the pleasure of living. Style manifests as a gesture or trace — an integral bodily movement — reaching its height in the drift between oral and written language, inventive aberration, and vital energy expenditure. Its core is an elusive, anomalous trait that arrives unexpectedly, like a cipher or radiant remnant that drives the unfolding adventure. Style is ultimately a tropology: an equation between literary invention and the stylist’s embodied mythology.
