HISTORIAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN ARTÍSTICA EN ARGENTINA: UNA ACTUALIZACIÓN

El presente trabajo presenta una aproximación al estado actual de las investigaciones que abordan la historia de la enseñanza de las artes visuales en Argentina. El propósito es cartografiar el mapa de los estudios que se refieren específicamente al proceso de institucionalización de los saberes y prácticas vinculados a ellas en el sistema educativo público. Se indagan aquellas producciones que exploran la escolarización de las artes visuales y se revisan las investigaciones que abordan la historia de la formación de los artistas y profesores de la especialidad. Asimismo, se efectúa una aproximación a la caracterización de los espacios disciplinares e institucionales desde los que se llevan adelante estas investigaciones, identificando algunos de los núcleos potentes desde los que se promueve la expansión de este territorio de conocimiento.

Abstract

This paper presents an approach to the current state of research on the history of visual arts education in Argentina. The purpose is to map the studies that refer specifically to the process of institutionalization of knowledge and practices related to them in the public education system. It analyzes those productions that explore the schooling of the visual arts and reviews the research that deals focuses on the history of the training of artists and teachers of the specialty. Likewise, a recognition is made of the disciplinary and institutional spaces from which these investigations are carried out, identifying some of the powerful nuclei from which the expansion of this territory of knowledge is promoted.
